After the Acqualina Resort & condos, a landmark in Sunny Isles Beach, claimed the title of highest retail sales price per square foot in Sunny Isles Beach during the summer of 2010, with a closed sale averaging of $784 per square foot, the Acqualina got dethroned by a milestone last week with the closed sale of the Jade Ocean Penthouse which was sold for an average of $1,020 per square foot - a record for Sunny Isles Beach, the private enclave in North Miami Beach.
